Braucht man noch Real Player und Quicktime?

Guten tag, ich habe einen neuen PC formatiert und jetzt installiere ich nötige Software. Früher waren Real Player und Quicktime wichtig. Aber braucht man heutzutage diesen Media Player immer noch?

Haha, Real Player.. hab ich schon lange nicht mehr gehört.. :-D

 

Soweit ich weiß ist QuickTime auf Macs immer noch in Gebrauch, kann mich aber nicht erinnern das letzte Mal QuickTime auf Windows gesehen zu haben. Wofür brauchst du die Software denn? Mit iTunes musste mal QuickTime mit installieren, glaube ich. Aber wenn du nur einen Videoplayer suchst, kannst du genausogut einfach nur den K-Lite Cocec Pack runter laden - damit hast du dann sämtliche Codecs (Und den Media Classic Player [ohne unnötigen Schnick Schnack]) und kannst so gut wie alle Videos (auch vom Internet runtergeladene) abspielen. Eine weitere Alternative wäre der VLC Player. Beides sind sehr gute Player. ;)
