Debian vim Syntax Highlighting (PHP, Python)

Hey Leute
öfters bearbeite ich meine PHP und Python Scripte über einem Terminal., da ich mich nicht mal einen IDE oder GUI zur Verfügung habe. Wie kann ich in vim den Quellcode farbig darstellen lassen? Also Color/Syntax Hightlighing wie in Notepad++ oder Eclipse?

Falls du noch nicht vim installiert hast apt-get install vim

.vimrc Datei in deinem Home Verzeichnis erstellen (falls sie nicht existiert) und folgendes darein schreibensyntax on

das war's;)

Um eine Log Für Syntax Highlighting einer Datei, die Datei mit vim öffnen. Danach folgendes eintippen:
:set filetype=messages :syntax on
