Eclipse - Failed to create the Java Virtual Machine

Hi Leute. Versuche gerade die Entwiclungsumgebung (IDE) Eclipse zu starten, aber bekomme immer diese Fehlermeldung: failed to create the Java Virtual Machine. Woher kommt das und was muss ich tun, damit das geht? Danke!!

Das liegt an einem fehlenden Eintrag in der eclipse.ini

Einfach den Pfad zum JDK dort eintragen, schon funktioniert es. Als Beispiel siehe folgende Datei:
...
-showsplash
org.eclipse.platform
-vm
../../jdk/jdk1.6.0_20/bin/javaw
--launcher.XXMaxPermSize
256M
...

Dort wurde der Eintrag -vm
../../jdk/jdk1.6.0_20/bin/javaw

ergänzt. Wobei der Pfad zu javaw sowohl ein absoluter, als aauch ein relativer sein kann. Wichtig ist, dass genau in diesem Verzeichnis javaw.exe (in windows) liegen muss. Ich hoffe, das hilft dir weiter.
