HTML-Tag für Referenzen eines wissenschaftlichen Artikels

Für ein wissenschaftliches Artikel sind Referenzen unverzichtbar. Die Liste von Einzelnachweise/Quellen steht meistens unter dem Artikel Text und wird mit einem anderen Stil dargestellt. Es ist meistens kleiner als Artikel-Text und es wird ein anderes Font benutzt.

Wie macht man das mit XHTML? Gibt es dafür ein bestimmtes HTML-Code Tag? Mit CSS Darstellung anpassen kann ich auch. Aber es geht nicht darum. Es darum sich an Web-Standarts zu halten.

Das kann und sollte man mit und Tags in HTML umsetzen. Allerdings ist Internet bzw. eine Webseite keine Printmedium. Ob es Sinn macht, die Fußnoten im Footer dex Textes zu plazieren, lässt sich diskutieren. Du kannst auch die Fußnoten als Popup-Fenster anzeigen lassen, das find ich besser...
