Informatik studieren aber welche Richtung?

Informatikstudium hat mittlerweile verschiedene Fachrichtungen. Ich möchte Informatik studieren aber ich weiß leider nicht welche Vor-und Nachteile ich habe und welche Schwerpunkte ein Fach hat. Für wen sind folgende Fachrichtungen geeignet, welche Voraussetzungen muss man mitbringen?

-Theoretische Informatik
-Wirtschaftsinformatik
-Angewandte Informatik etc.

Noch eine Frage, was für Unterschiede macht es aus an der Uni oder an der Fachhochschule zu studieren?
