Internetzugang über den Kabelanschluss. Wie kann ich meine IP ändern?

Ich habe ein kleines Problem mit meinen Kabelanschluss von Unitymedia. Ich glaube bei anderen Kabelfernseher-Anbieter ist auch nicht anders. Man kann einfach seine IP nicht ändern. Ich glaube es wird fest vergeben. Gibt es dafür kein Trick? Sonst muss ich meinen Anschluss kündigen, denn jahrelang mit gleichem IP im Netz surfen ist gefährlich oder?

Ja es ist gefährlich! Teoritisch hat Unitymedia auch dynamische IPs. Das kommt sehr selten vor, weil Lease-Time bei Unitymedia für längere Zeit vergeben wird.

Wie beim normalen DSL-Anbieter bringt nichts, wenn du deinen Router neu startest. Wenn du unbedingt deine IP ändern willst, kannst du dein Gerät vom Unitymedia für ein paar Stunden aus dem Strom nehmen. Mit etwas Glück hast du eine neue IP.
