Mail Problem mit Drupal + Hosteurope

Wenn man ein Hosting/Vserver bei Hosteurope hat und Drupal drauf laifen lasst hat man ein Problem. Php's Mail funktion liefer zwar kein fehler aber SMTP/Sendmail funktioniert nicht wie erwartet.

SMTP Module zu installieren, konfigurieren hat auch nicht geholfen. Einzige Lösung mit bisschen Aufwand für mich ist:

1. Sich bei Hosteurope KIS anmelden
2. Skripte >> "Defaul email Adresse" einstellen
3. Gleiche Email Adresse für Site Email und Admin user verwenden.

Allerdings ist diese Lösung für Multisite Installationen nicht so optimal.

Gibt es Qualitätsunterschiede bei Netzwerk-Verbindungen von Strato, 1und1, Hosteurope und Hetzner?

Wir brauchen ein Hosting oder vielleicht ein Server für unsere Stiftung. Die Preis-Unterschiede zwischen Plusserver, Serverloft, Strato, 1blu und ein paar andere Anbieter sind manchmal sehr groß. Aber die Leistungsunterschiede sehen nicht so groß aus. Warum sollten wir mehr zahlen? Gibt es wichtige Service Unterschiede oder Netzwerk Qualitätsunterschiede?
