Soweit ich weiß, ist Tethering, wenn du dein Smartphone als Access Point einrichtest und du mit deinem Notebook, Rechner über deinem Smartphone mit dem Internet verbindest.

Also quasi dein Handy als Modem oder Router zu verwenden und übers WLAN andere PCs oder Netbooks Möglichkeit bieten ins Internet zu gehen. Akku wird schnell leer, man muss aufpassen.
