Weil es kostenlos ist :) Was nichts kostet, ist nichts Wert!

Linux war früher nicht so Benutzerfreundlich wie Windows. Windows ist besser für Computer Laien

Linux wird von vielen genutzt, sehr oft auch im Server Bereich, nur nicht von denen die nur Windows Programme benutzen oder zocken wollen. Viele installieren auch Ubuntu Linux auf ihrem Netbook, weil Linux schneller ist als Windows.

Alle kennen Windows. Alle benutzen Windows. Deswegen gibt es alle Programme für Windows. Und deswegen benutzen die Leute Windows. Normale PC-Nutzer benutzen so gut wie nie Linux, nur irgendwelche Informatiker. Einer der Gründ eist sicherlich auch, weil es kaum Spiele für Linux gibt.
