Was ist Double-Opt-In bei Newsletter?

Es muss irgendwie wichtig sein. Aber was das sein kann, habe ich keine Ahnung. Vielleicht gibt es eine andere Name dafür.

Double-Opt-In ein ein Vorgehensweise/Verfahren beim Aufnehmen der Personen in einer Liste, an die Newsletter verschickt wird.

Das Verfahren besteht aus zwei Schritten:

1) Personen meldet sich mit einer E-Mail-Adresse für Newsletter an

2) Man verschickt an die Person eine Bestätigungsmail mit einem Link zur Bestätigung der Anmeldung. Wenn die Person auf dem Link klickt, wird in die Newsletter-Liste aufgenommen. Reagiert die Person nicht, bekommt auch kein Newsletter.

In Deutschland nutzt man eher Double-Opt-In. Das ist beim Versand von Newsletter sicherer, da sonst man mit dem Empfänger rechtlich in die Schwierigkeiten geraten könnte, falls die Anmeldung durch die Dritte erfolgt ist/wenn die Person sich nicht angemeldet hat.
