Was ist Windows Azure?

Hallo, kann ich Jemand erklären was Windows Azure ist? Habe diesen Begriff paar Mal gehört, aber wirklich was kann ich mir darunter nicht vorstellen. was ist Windows Azure und wofür braucht man es?

Windows Azure ist Cloud- Plattform von Fa. Microsoft. Verschiedene Cloud Lösungen werden hier angeboten. Webseiten, Datenbanken, Online-Speicherplatz und mehr. Es gint dafür eine Produkt Webseite. Guck dir an:
