Windows Server 2008 Einstellungen sichern und übertragen

Hallo liebe ITler,
ich habe einen Windows Server 2008 im Einsatz und möchte gerne die Einstellungen für den Notfall sichern und möglichst in kürzeste zeit auf ein neues Gerät übertragen. Da ich im Bereich neu bin, fehlt mir leider die Orientierung.

Ich würde mich auf Tipps, Beschreibung oder Hinweise freuen, wo ich weiterrecherchieren könnte. Oder jemand kennt vielleicht eine übersichtliche Anleitung dazu?
