Wie finanziert sich Firefox?

Ich bin etwas neugierig :)

Firefox hat keine Werbung und kostet ja auch nichts. Wie kann so ein großes Unternehmen auf Dauer seine Kosten abdecken? Womit finanzieren sich die open source Projekte?

Durch Kooperationen wie oben schon erwähnt. Ich verstehe zwar auch nicht ganz gut, wie solche große Projekte als open source angboten werden können. Wahrscheinlich habe ich für eine Lösung gefunden. Man braucht ja ziemlich viel Kapital, dies zu finanzieren.
