Sind Broadcast und Gateway das Gleiche?

Bin dabei neue Ip bei Webmin einzutragen. Es gibt drei Felder:

IPv4 address ist klar.
Netmask ist Maske, ebenfalls klar.
Broadcast ist gleich Gateway?

In anderen Einrichtungsassistent gibt es kein Broadcast sondern nur Maske, IPv4 und Gateway.

Unterschied zwischen Broadast und Gateway: Die sind zwei ganz unterschiedliche Dinge:

Broadcast ist immer die letzte IP-Nummer im Sub-Netz und steht dafür zur Verfügung, dass ein Paket an alle Sub-Netzteilnehmer zu verteilen.

Standart Gateway ist Computer, der die Pakete weiterleitet, falls Empfänger nicht im gleichen Subnetz ist.
