Um Apache Solr zu installieren bzw. zu aktualisieren (Update/Upgrade) :

tar xzf solr-8.11.1.tgz solr-8.11.1/bin/install_solr_service.sh --strip-components=2
./install_solr_service.sh solr-8.11.1.tgz -f
/etc/init.d/solr restart
service solr restart

Wenn nach Restart so eine Meldung kommt:
# /etc/init.d/solr restart

Die Lösung:
# pico -w /etc/security/limits.d/solr.conf
solr soft nofile 65000 solr hard nofile 65000 solr soft nproc 65000 solr hard nproc 65000Nach dem Einfügen & Speichern von 4 Zeilen oben, Solr neustarten.
