Notebook-Akku geht sehr schnell leer!

Ich hab ein altes Notebook, womit ich auch zufrieden bin außer dem Akku. Die geht ganz schnell leer. Muss ich unbedingt einen neuen Akku kaufen oder kann man den noch retten und wieder in Ordnung bringen?

versuche mal damit: Notebook starten und direkt durch Taste entf oder F2 (mehrmals drucken) BIOS-Fenster öffnen. Notebook laufen lassen bis Akku leer ist. Notebook an Strom anschliessen und 100% aufladen. Wieder das Gerät vom Strom nehmen und BIOS-Fenster öffnen und warten Bus Akku komplett leer ist.

und natürlich wieder aufladen. Bundesregierung müsste es länger halten.
