Ubuntu Linux: "Fehler beim Ändern der Authentifizierungstoken"

Hallo zusammen,

ich kann mich nicht mehr auf meinem Linux Rechner einloggen. Ich habe versucht mein Benutzer Linux Passwort zurückzusetzen, aber bekomme folgende Fehlermeldung:

passwd MEIN-BENUTZERNAME Geben Sie ein neues UNIX-Passwort ein: Geben Sie das neue UNIX-Passwort erneut ein: passwd: Fehler beim Ändern der Authentifizierungstoken passwd: Passwort nicht geändert

Das Problem hatte ich auch.

1. Einfach den Rechner in Linux Recovery Modus(Wiederherstellungsmodus) starten.

2. In der Wiederherstellungsmenü folgendes wählen:
"remount - remount / read/write and mount all other file systems"

3. Den Rechner neustarten.

4. Im Recovery Modus "root - Zur root-Befehlszeile (Shell) wechseln" wählen

5. Im Root modus folgendes eintippen und dein neues Passwort eingeben
passwd DEIN-BENUTZERNAME

Mit deinem neuen Passwort kannst du dich wiedereinloggen!
