Web3 ist Dezentrales Internet. Das heißt Internet wird immer unabhängiger von gigantischen Plattformen wie Google, Amazon, Apple, Twitter, Facebook usw funktionieren.

Blockchain-Technologie wird dabei eine wichtige Rolle spielen um Internet zu dezentralisieren. Cryptowährungen sind nur ein Aspekt von Web3.

Kurz und knapp:

  • Web(1) bestand mehrheitlich aus Information und Kommunikation (Website, Chat, Messengers etc).
  • Web2 war Web1 + E-Commerce , Social Media, Streaming usw.
  • Web3 ist Web2 + das neue Dezentrale Internet.
